Will tickets be available on the gate at the day?
Yes, you can buy your ticket on the day but grandstand reserve seating is strictly limited.
How much are tickets?
The prices for the different ticket types are on the ticketing website here http://www.ticketdirect.com.au/event/season/948. Select the ticket type for the pricing information.
What age is considered a child?
A child ticket is for children aged 4 to 15 years.
Can I take my camera?
Of course, we encourage you to take as many photos as possible. However, if you would like to professionally photograph the event, please contact kaitlyn@bitecom.com.au for media accreditation. Images are not to be licensed or resold without express permission of the event producer.
Something else came up and I can’t make the show can I get a refund?
Refunds are only available if the event is cancelled.
What happens if it rains on show day?
It can still run BUT if the event is rained out, then it will be run on the following days. As per the terms and conditions on the ticket, Monday 3rdJune is a reserve day in which to run any previously cancelled days’ program. Updates on these issues will be posted to the World Jousting Championship Facebook page in the case of extreme weather.
Is the event suitable for wheelchairs?
Yes, it is flat and there is an accessible area available.
How long does the event last?
Event times are 9am-10pm on Saturday 1June, and 9am-5pm on Sunday 2 June. Please note that after 5pm on Saturday, the Globe Tavern is the only event area that will be operating.
Can I bring food into the venue?
Food and drink can be brought into the venue. There will also be a variety of food and beverage vendors with vegan, GF, and DF options to purchase.
Can I bring weapons, medieval or otherwise?
No illegal substances or weapons of any nature may be brought into the venue. No gang colours, patches or other items that signify gang membership may be displayed at the Event.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately not. No animals may be brought into the venue other than assistance dogs.
Is the event suitable for children?
Yes, most definitely. It’s a great day out for families. A child ticket includes access to the jousts and all other faire activities including a kids knight school, kids archery range, plays, birds of prey displays and they will be able to witness the firing trebuchet!
Is there a no-alcohol area?
Alcohol is only permitted in the tavern, VIP area and satellite bar; it is an alcohol-free zone otherwise.
What happens if I forget, lose or had my tickets stolen?
You need to produce ID at the box office and the staff will re-print your tickets with new bar codes. The original tickets will then be invalid. No fee is required.
Will there be parking? Where can I park?
There will be onsite parking at Lardner Park at a cost of $5 per vehicle.

Will public transport be available?
A shuttle bus service will be running from Warragul station to Lardner Park from 9am – 12pm each day, with return trips to Warragul station from 3pm – 6pm

Is the venue smoke free?
There will be limited smoking areas available but it is not allowed outside designated areas.
Will there be EFTPOS as the venue?
Yes there will be an ATM.
Where can I find a program of the day?

Gates open 9am both days. Grand Parade starts at 10am.
There will be medieval activity around Lardner Park throughout the day including the trebuchet, archery, medieval re-enactors, impromptu performances and medieval music and an evening performance at the Globe Inn medieval tavern on the Saturday night.
